1. Developed proof-of-concept (PoC) exploits for N-day vulnerabilities across 50+ Fortinet products, performed impact based prioritization, and escalated critical issues to support rapid remediation and customer protection.
2. Collaborated with global Fortinet development teams to refine secure coding practices and risk assessment processes using internal security metrics, ensuring consistent product security posture and integrity worldwide.
3. Maintained product system health by proactively identifying, remediating, and architecting secure-by-design fixes for vulnerabilities in existing codebases, leveraging Fortinet's incident response and customer inquiry handling frameworks.
4. Conducted in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) for vulnerabilities in third-party libraries and legacy code (including CVE assessments), determining exploitability, and producing comprehensive incident reports to guide remediation efforts.
5. Handle threats and response, given than Fortinet is also a CNA, it is my daily duty to assess Vulnerabilities reported and check the CIA impact for all Fortinet products. Have very good knowledge of the processes set during incident response and customer question handling. IR involved handling tickets from customers, TAC/TAM, internal/third-party researchers and tickets generated by scanners and detection tools. Comfortably able to navigate handling these tickets in a time efficient manner.
